• What are the listed active and inactive ingredients?
Active: Sodium Fluoride 0.15% w/v of fluoride ion
Inactive: D&C red #30 lake, FD&C blue #1 lake, flavor. glycerin, hydrated silica, PEG-8, sodium benzoate, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium saccharin, sorbitol, tetrapotassium pyrophosphate, tetrasodium pyrophosphate, titanium dioxide, water, xanthan gum

• How much do you pay for it? As I didn't buy this tube, I'm guessing 3.49.
• What size tube do you usually get? 6 oz
• How often do you buy a new tube? Every 3-4 months or so?
• Which country do you live in? USA
• Do you reapply when brushing? No
• Why do you pick that brand? I didn't, but it tastes surprisingly good.
• Is there anything else you'd like to say about your toothpaste? I am surprised at the inactive ingredients list!

Reading backwards a bit I see that indeed, my toothpaste is full of artifical garbage and sweeteners.. Tsk. However, Tom's is hard to find and expensive!

I have once purchased and used Tom's of Maine cinnamint toothpaste, and it was rather good and more of a natural-ingredients type if more expensive and less frequently found in stores. (Liquid version, but it usually comes in a package similar to the other flavors (also lists both ingredient lists and mentions its Kosher status))

I also have in the past used Aquafresh Kids Bubblemint toothpaste that comes in a pump. (4.6 oz) (That wonderful site, if you click 'Package Details', has all ingredients listed!)

Ah, another thing. The floss that comes with this toothpaste is surprisingly HORRID compared to the floss I prefer to use - Oral-B Satin Mint (waxed) floss.

• What is the name of your toothpaste (please include brand)?

Gleem

• What is the name of the company that produces it?

Proctor and Gamble, but it's apparently been discontinued. I've had this tube for a while.

• What are the listed active and inactive ingredients?

I'm not sure, but some googling turned up this: http://householdproducts.nlm.nih.gov/cgi-bin/household/brands?tbl=brands&id=16003416.

• Where do you buy it (name of store/URL of website/name of catalog company, please)?

I bought it at Target.

• How much do you pay for it?

$1.50 or so.

• What size tube do you usually get?

This tube is 6.4 oz

• How often do you buy a new tube?

Well, I've had this tube since I was sixteen. I'm almost done with it. I'm not particular about toothpaste, so I use whatever's around my mom's house when I'm there and this one when I'm at home.

• Which country do you live in?

Hungary.

• Do you reapply when brushing?

No.

• Why do you pick that brand?

It was the cheapest.

• Is there anything else you'd like to say about your toothpaste?

It's discontinued. So the next time I need to buy toothpaste I'll likely go to the store and look for the cheapest. It'll be a while, though. I have a few other tubes (different brands). My mother gave me a lifetime supply when I went to college.
